Holy moly! Call the nutrient police! [emoji61]Yikes! Nitrate up to 32 ppm. PO4 up at a rip roaring 0.43 ppm. Yikes indeed. I haven't run any kind of reactors in two years. I may need to hop online and order a reactor and actually use all this gfo I'm hording. Not exactly going for an ULNS, but PO4 this high cannot be good

I'll make sure to put on some nice music when people swing by the lounge. [emoji6]my goodness, this thread should just be renamed "the lounge," since it.. kinda is *lol*

Yes sir, always can frag a piece from the mother colony if you're interested and let it heal.

Oh sweet! I had an old 92 YJ that I did all kinds of modifications to back in the day. Owned a 2005 LJ as well that I still regret selling to this day. [emoji17]

Too easy! Shawn's Green Acro! Booyah!
Ok let's get an id on the acros on the right?
Nah, I can ID an SPS frag a mile away these days... Okay, maybe 10 miles... [emoji12]
Ty got it exactly rightPretty sure the left frags are the red planet frags he mentioned. The superman man monti is the center one and the 3 green acros are the right ones.
And that is pretty impressive from the picture (it sucks) Ty your not going to jump out of a closet and scare me are you?

Yes sir...and that's for a 250 gallon total volume so adjust accordingly for your size tank.Sorry Sascha, just bought some spectracide stump remover from Lowes. Gonna start this wknd. I test with Red Sea pro test kits, so hopefully the kits are still accurate.
Ty, so you dosed 3070 ppm of nitrate to get your tank to 4-5. Then did you just test daily till it dropped back to 0 before you dosed another 1/2 liter?
I tested daily initially and measured my nitrate consumption in the tank and then setup a dosing plan accordingly to it. I had to re-dose that amount every 5-6 days so I just dumped in 1/4 liter every 2-3 days roughly. I tested weekly at that point.

Welcome back Todd!

That looks pretty dead to me.

Aw man, I was hoping you wouldn't call me out on that. There's no dislike button so I figured I'd like it in support. [emoji22]
Glad you liked that my fish died ty [emoji12]Had an unexplainable death this morning [emoji17] poor guy, had him for about a yr and a half. Woke up to find him lying at the bottom of the tank. He looked healthy. No signs of trauma or illness. Doesn't appear like he starved to death either. Totally bummed out

I usually do as well.Ok, question for the experienced CaRx folks out there. I am using the reborn media and neo-mag. I mixed it in the reactor 9:1 as directed. But the water in the chamber looks really cloudy. Do you guys rinse your media before loading the reactor chamber?

Finalize the tank and spend my time just watching the tank and trimming growth.

Congrats sir! I think it's time for you to go with a no water change tank... The type that doesn't have 32 ppm of nitrates and 0.43 ppm of phosphates! [emoji6]
