  5. [i have a 60 gl tank that I would like to trade for some equipment to start a nano tank. I have a 12 gl nanocube, however still need the other equipment. The 60 gl tank was set up as a reef tank and the dimensions are 36"L x18.5"D x21.5"H. It comes with the glass top, no lights or filter. It has a wooden stand with cabinet doors. I would consider a larger working nano tank and could possibly find some other items to add to make the trade more even. you can send replies to [[email protected]][email protected][/email] thanks for looking at my ad. post-344-1189253247_thumb.jpg

  7. Let me know because I am interested in several of your pieces of coral.

I have not heard from the other party, so I may just part it out. Sell corals and livestock, and live rock first. I live about an hour North of Austin, however, I can meet you in Austin for delivery or meet me halfway. I would like to have the corals, livestock, rock etc. sold to 1 or more persons and just make 1 trip, however, they may not be possible. Let me know what you wanted and much you wanted to give for them. I forgot about my green mandrin. 254-939-6253

  8. There is a skimmer box attachment that is supposed to fix that and hide the pump at the same time. It is pricey as well though. How is it skimming? I picked up an Urchin (same skimmer, but sump instead of HOB) but I don't have a pump for it yet. Hope it gets better!

It works great, pulls a lot of gunk out of the water. The drain fitting is a good option to have. Thanks for the info.

  9. I bought a new aqua remora skimmer. I did not buy the pump upgrade, funds would not allow it. I was upset that the maxi jet pump setup does not have the air flow valve and it is not mentioned anywhere. After a break in period it worked perfectly. Now my tank is full of air bubbles. I have retightened all fittings, cleaned all lines, hoses etc. Still blowing bubbles, :D Any one else have this problem or have a solution?

  10. are you parting out? if so what types of corals, and livestock do you have for sale?
I may part it out if I cannot sell or trade out the entire setup. I have a huge finger leather, blue zenia, green star polyp, yellow polyp, 2 button polyps, 1 is orange 1 is cinnamon colored, torch coral, mushroom polyp. livestock is niger trigger, tomato clown, yellowtail damsel, yellow and purple dotty back and a watchman goby.

  13. The ARC is the nearest club to my home, about 45 minute drive. I didn't think about it being too far away for most others to drive, sorry. I have to drive to Austin, even Waco and as far away as Dallas or Houston to find decent corals, livestock etc. I go to the AQUA Dome a lot!! good place to go.I just found out about a product called Arcti Pods that can be fed to mandrins. How kewl is that. :D I may try that. I enjoy my mandrain, a pretty cool fish.Seems like s/w reef tanks involve a constant learning process, along with a LOT!!!! of MONEY!!!! and TIME!!! :)

  14. I also have a female green madrin that is constantly hunting for pods to eat. I am afraid there are not enough pods for her. She is becoming more and more skinny .I am somewhat new to the world of aquarium keeping. I would like to give her to a good home. I have a 60 gl reef tank and am struggling to learn my way through the; oops, that can't be good, syndrom. lol. I would like a few more soft corals , since I only have about 6 corals in my tank.if anyone had a soft coral frag ot two they wanted to use as trade in for the mandrin, that would be great. I hope this is the right place to add this post, if not, i'm sorry. :)
