I saw a big blob of something in floating around in the tank, went to investigagte and found it's a marble-sized piece of frogspawn. My frogspawn is usually about 6-7" around,k but it's been staying about 5" for the last few days. Now I find this piece floating. Did it frag itself, or what?

Didn't mean to leave you hanging, but I haven't been feeling well and had a lot going on in the evenings. I've actually sold the big one, but I still have a smaller one that it's just as pretty. It's about 2.5"x 2.5". I don't know really how to get a piece of it, other than just cut it off with a knife or something. Where are you located? I'm in Georgetown, just a little North of the outlet mall in Round Rock.

do they come in blue? I'd really like some blue in my tank.

Well, I must be doing something right because 3 months ago it was a tiny blob the size of a dime. And I have a pale pink one with root things growing out of it. I wasn't sure what they were - Chatfouz told me they were sponges. And they're growing like crazy. The pale pink one isn't that attractive, but the hot pink one is nice.

A week or so ago I saw a pale pink sponge about 3" in diameter at a LFS for $120. Are these rare or something? I've got a hot pink sponge that just appeared on my rock that's about 3"x 5". Is it worth $120?

He finally showed up late last night. But he still looks lonely.

Well, no sign of the lone goby today. Not even when I feed them arctipods.

He's doing great, and is very peaceful. He will still only eat frozen mysis (I feed mysis, krill, arctipods, Marine Cuisine, etc) but he really tears into the algae sheets. He's friendly and outgoing and always busy picking at the rocks. He swims all over, but doesn't swim the length of the tank. he's best friends with my Foxface Lo and they just cruise around together.
