All cycling tanks smell, nature of the beast. Remember, the shrimp will be submerged so wont be like throwing a porkchop in your backseat and forgetting about it....
derrick.. if you are kidding with me.. i will send a TROJAN WORM your way..
-
its a great tank.. esp if i clean it up.. but heat is an issue.. i dont' want to try..
-
hey.. wait a minute!!
won't that raw shrimp start to smell
-
hmmm.. well, then maybe i will make the acrylic a big SHRIMP tank.. !!!
-
i had some friend in discus form suggest "novus scratch remover", several people gave endorsements but i will look for this wax that you mentioned..

-
my Fiance said for me not to use my credit cards anymore
-

-
how do you clean that purple stuff off of it?
-
What is THE GOOD, THE BAD and THE UGLY when comparing the two types of tanks?!
i have a 37 acrylic, so i am wondering if i should keep it or not..
-
wish i had a tank set up..
-
PROF has alot of it.. i was just there sunday!! $2.50/lb..
-
derrick.. thanks..!!
i was not clear.. that i wanted to add CUC as my first marine life.. after tank was cycled.. not in uncycled tank..
ps.. how long does the shrimp need to decompose before you tank it out
-
i am at the same point as you with my future salt tank.. 20 G
i am planning on getting my DRY rock from PROF, he is local.. i don't think its "Controversial" as much as Many member wish they would have gone this route from the beginning.. LOL
i will add a bag of live sand.. another member Sarah.. gave me a live bacterial culture.. then i will let the tank cycle for several weeks.. i myself am going to add a clean up crew instead of a starter fish..
ps.. if you do a starter fish.. DON"T get a Damsel.. i am hearing that is a Mistake Many make.. they are Hardy fish.. but they bully the fish you may really want.. AND they are VERY HARD to catch in the tank.. LOL

anybody have a cube tank they want to get rid of!?
i kind of like them
-
i like the 30 frag tank.. LOL>. but the other tank is bad azz also!
-
does anybody have a Stand for a 20H, they want to get rid of on the cheap side

What are the dimensions
it has two parts.. each section will fit a 24" x 18" (actually a little smaller for HOB filter or other stuff)
75/90/110 have a base NORMALLY of 48" x 18"

+1 to the AC70 or AC110. You can do the fuge mod on both and they both pretty much last forever. Great HOB filter for a reef tank.
i just picked up AC 110 from Sarah last nite!!
now i am just looking for a little light to attach to the filter compartment

Sold. Thanks Warlock!

I am curious for when I get back from the holidays and your running more auctions...... if us austinites win the auctions can we just come in and pick them up to avoid the shipping fees?
Thanks

AC 70 would be good. I had a 50 on a 20 gallon once and always wished I had gone with the 70. You can do the fuge mod with the Aquaclear and the 70 will give you more room.
is a Fuge a better choice then just a Reg HOB?
-
i am in same boat.. i want a HOB also..
i wanted to get a Fluval C2/C3.. or i have an AC 50 i could use.. would these work also?
