Argonite is fine. Crushed coral also has a lot of sharp edges from the looks of it. Would think that it would not be too good on the sifters.

i have seen the argonite stuff.. but they seem to have a variation of the texture.. Crushed Coral is OUT of the question for me..

what are the most popular Sand that people use?! that sifters have no problems with...

here is the STAND.. its SOLID Plywood.. Heavy!

has a Drawer and a cabinet.. Top is 21" x 25".. the cabinet is 19" x 24"..

bottom has room for 10 tank.. maybe too small for a Sump?

so which sand do i get for the base.. the fine stuff.. or the stuff just alittle coarser.. !? which are both finer then the crush coral (i don't want that)

do yall think this base cabinet with a 3/4" plywood on top would support the BIOCUBE 29g (8lb x 29g = 240) with 40 lbs of rock/sand with a factor of safety.. at least 300lbs?

its only $94 for the base and i could paint it black with Plenty of Room underneath..
