What type of lighting do you have on your tank? I switched from leds to T5s and my pictures come out so much better! You may can adjust the white balance.

The cookie is awesome! Still soft! The icing is a little hard for my taste, but this is her first time to ever make cookies like this, so hopefully that can be adjusted! Shhhh.... dont tell her I said that!

I have been using them and they are great!! Just want to start controlling all aspects of my tank (i know someone else making ro/di water is not me controlling it..) so that I know what I put in my tank is what I want in my tank. Also, I figure it is not as expensive to make it yourself. I have been paying roughly $0.65/gal. x 15g = $9.75 x 26 (if getting water every 2 weeks) = $253.50 for a years worth of water..

I understand if no one can commit to something like this, so if I do not get any responses I will just get my own system and have it kinda temporarily in place

It would be roughly 15g/week (top off /week is about 10g and every 2 week I do a 5g water change).

Got some coralline chucks from Bio (Thanks again!). I crushed a few of them and then put the rest in my sump, I will also bump up my mag a little and see if I can get it to spread!

Do you test your Mg levels? I noticed in a previous tank when I was treating for bryopsis that elevated Mg makes the coraline go crazy. Not sure what's in purple up, but I'm fairly confident in suggesting good Ca levels and good to abnormally high Mg levels will result in accelerated coraline growth.

I do, they stay from 1200 - 1240. Is that low?

I have some purple up, I will start dosing it. I have kept up with adding cal and alk every 3 days, so hopefully with both of those I can get some going.

Not sure where to post this but, I am wanting to see if anyone is willing to scrap off some coralline for me!

I don't have any growing in my tank and have read that you have to introduce it into the system.
