  1. Have a few frags that I've been growing out for a while, can schedule pickups on the weekends or attempt some meetups around 6pm during the week in the South Austin area. Pm me with any questions, if you are interested in multiple frags I can work out a pack price to get them moved a little quicker. Thanks for looking and I apologize for the iphone quality pics I tried my best haha! Also I will update with a solid polyp count this evening they are all listed with an approximate (~) count as of right now.

    Will hold with PayPal.

  6. I like the Sicce Syncra 12 that I have been using lately. Not as loud as a Mag pump and definitely not as much heat.

I had seen that one but confused it with a similar looking pump that was not reef compatible from the reviews haha. I'm looking at it now and seems like this may be a winner! Thank you!

  7. Right now I have a mag 24 on my 200g pumping to 4 total returns in the tank. The flow is strong on the two returns in the center overflow with less head just about 4ft; however, the flow from the two corner returns is very weak I'd say about 7 ft head on those. The returns run off the same manifold, right now its probably close to 1100gph or less and I'm planning to add a chiller to the setup and need a more powerful reliable and quiet submersible return pump.

So far I haven't found anything that would be able to top the mag 24 and I'm looking for recommendations. Currently running an inline is not possible unless I would be able to drill my trigger systems tideline sump which I'm not too fond of the idea to be honest. Nor would I want to add another mag drive to the sump as they tend to put off a good amount of heat and would be counteracting the chiller. If you have any suggestions please let me know, thank you.

  8. Congrats on the 225, I just spent the last few months planning out my 200 DSA build and finally got it all setup more or less haha.

If you have the apex, I would recommend the mp40s or tunze turbelle stream controllable. I have a couple turbelle stream 6105s on my 200 DSA I just setup and was able to buy the adapter for the apex and got a solid inch plus wave. I believe you have the ability to connect the vortechs as well but I've always been a tunze fan. They are expensive but would be able to move more water in my opinion compared to the gyre without the extra clutter of adding other powerheads but I've never had any expereince with those just seen videos and such. With the apex variable speed setup and the vortech/tunze you gain alot of controllability though, you can control the flow throughout the day, ie; dusk/dawn day and night flow and setup flush cycles to move nutrients around (this part took some research and trial and error but I would be happy to help explain it on the tunze end haha).

Lifereef has some qualitiy products but thats a heck of a wait for a sump. If you haven't committed the funds to the order check out the trigger systems sumps, I put a trigger systems tideline 48 in mine, the quality is excellent plenty of space for skimmers pumps and the lot. Plus it has mounts for your probes and dosing lines already which is awesome. It just barely squeezed into my 200 stand though haha. But if you're good with the down time and waiting on the Lifereef then go with that for sure. Definitely get the rock and water in and cycling during the wait, I was in a similar setup with my DSA waiting a few months for the hood so I had it all up and running until I could get the lighting up. Best of luck on the build though!

  9. Yea, thanks for the info! I was thinking the same and how it helps to one up the recommended, but that also increases the pricing as it gets closer to the 1hp which sucks haha.
