    Clownfish Fry

Our first clutch of false perc clownfish fry posing for their family photo. This was taken tonight and they are six weeks old hosting a fake bubble tip anemone. This group has 14 fry that made it through metamorphosis while our second group has (+-)40 fry that survived through meta. I've had trouble getting photos of them and when I was trying to find one to post for the contest my wife walked over and caught these little guys off guard putting my skills to shame with this great picture.
  10. I've never seen my sexy shrimp out and about like this guy, must have been a lucky photo opp or he is very social!

Sure is a great looking colony. I had to take quite a few angles with my photo as well, talk about time consuming haha.

    pom pom crab

Ya I would really like a couple of these guys. Do they get picked on much by tangs?
  13. Very nice rbta, any clones yet?
  14. A difficult picture to get as the sexy shrimp likes to hide out under the rock lip with the anemone so he is usually shaded. He is perched just above the clowns eye to the right in this photo. It's a little blurry as the clown did not take kindly to having a camera perched next to his anemone for so long and started stirring up some substrate.
  15. Looks great and I really enjoyed getting to see the progression of the tank, you're doing a great job! Sorry to hear about the oldest seahorse too thats a bummer.. When I would leave on trips before my brothers got into reefing I was just as paranoid having them check and feed the tank! Looking through this thread I wish I had time to stop and check it out, maybe next time though! Thanks again for the frag and I know I keep saying I'll have more detailed photos up soon and I will! Finished dealing with the vet this morning, my dog had all three of his staples taken out so I should have "some" free time now!
