Monti frag looked like possible RTN. The flesh had pulled away from the skeleton so I cut it past the tissue damage. Now this little frag is even smaller. whew.

sea hare is dead.
also looks like one of my small superman monti frags is bleaching out at one end. It had fallen off my rock (not glued down yet) and today half of it is kinda bleached out. :/

Welcome to the addiction.

Color me interested. Can you put some pics up?
That must be a pretty big stand to fit a 48x12x12 sump.

I am not sure if he's gotten smaller or I am used to seeing him now. There is still plenty of GHA to eat but should I be feeding it something else too?
Tonight 3 nassarius snails were riding on it's butt. I am not sure if they were after him or his freshly produced dingleberries.
Anyone have thoughts to share?

The granular non HC.

I'd wonder how they remembered what fish you bought when.... and then accosted you upon entering the building? I know when I go to RCA and AquaTek they recognize me but they probably can't tell me in detail when I've bought what.

I've got an unopened container containing 1 pound of BRS's Granular GFO.
Shoot me a PM if ya want it.

I personally dont get using tapatalk. Why not just use the browser? I dont see the benefit of the software at all.
The mobile version of ARC is pretty good. However there are plenty of sites that don't have a mobile version and the 'normal' version takes too long to load. Tapatalk is good for that. (Though I still don't think it's worth paying for)

Model OPT-2000, pump is built into unit (fastened to base).
That's the pump model. Several of their skimmers use that guy. just fyi

I WANT A TENT IN MY PRINCESS CUP!

I use ReVive. It's cheaper in the 16 oz "consumer" mix than CoralRX. Been working good for me. Killed off a bristle worm from a frag I got.

Replying from mobile version has no input box for text.

Mobile version is completely unusable. Cannot see convos in threads.

I wanted one of these until I got spoiled with rimless tanks with starfire glass... still a gorgeous tank though.

What fittings does this come with? Hose bib connection? Saddle valve?
Comes with some 1/4" tubing for the incoming supply and waste water I assume? Float valve?

I don't think you'd be over skimming your tank with that PS. If you have a total water volume of 165 gallons then this would be a good PS for that size. Remember, it's always better to have a skimmer that is to big rather than to small.
Total Volume is probably closer to 150. The sump holds 40 to the rim so at operating range it probably holds 25-30.. though I don't know how to calculate that since the three chambers all have different water levels.

Yeah, that's exactly what I have is the BRS Ca, Mg, and soda ash (all bulk) and I mix up jugs of that stuff. I was still looking up dosers and was about to take the dive on the Tom's aqualifters and now your post put me over. I'm jumping all in.
I know someone might chime in that it is not as precise as the dosing pumps but for me there is an acceptable range with the trace elements. Add to it that I still test weekly to biweekly and you have a system in place in case of a variance over time due to the slight inaccuracy of the pumps. I'll put up with that for $80 dollars cheaper than BRS' dosing pumps. Thanks Long.

Report back on it once you get going.
