Tank is pending, thank you for the interest

I'm thinking 1700g should be enough. I just need to go to iceland to find a mermaid to put in it

The tank looks really nice! If I were not going to go larger I would have set it up. But I do not have time for 2 at the moment.

I think it is due to shipping costs. I have heard of people getting group orders from them shipped here. (I think it was DBP, but I could be mistaken)

The toadstool is still one of my favorite corals at the moment! Not to mention it grows extremely fast! GLWS

thanks...im not an aggie...just a local lolAggies? Booooo
LOL Just kidding! Welcome to the site!
I AM an aggie so watch your step! Jk my family is literally split down the middle between aggie and longhorn grads. No hate here, besides on the football field.
My family was split between A&M and UT... So I went to Texas Tech

I think if you were to come up with a way to make a modular, sturdy, and attractive stand you could do pretty well. I believe it is a very small niche to be local only, so the need to ship would be important.

I saw a lot of tanks in there last night

Look at that wave!

PIJAC is a great organization and I have had to privilege of speaking with a few of the directors and everything they represent is very honorable. I know there is a group for Reptiles called USARK but is there an Aquatic one? The only down side to PIJAC is that they are so broad that some small issues get past them. I would love to support an aquatic group as well.

Those are sweet!

George, I think FW tanks can be just as neat as reefs. Elephant Noses are Kari's favorite as well. It must be a girl thing
I am planning a freshwater / terrestrial aquarium to set up after we get the 30 cube we won completely set up. I want to do something with local species though. Just have to figure it all out first.

But due to being for an "aquarium" the price is marked wayyy up.

dunno the size of your planted tank, but if it is small enough you could run the fluval fauna co2 setup...it is pretty cheap
That is awesome. I would assume you can even refill it with CO2 cartridges from Academy or Walmart

I'm not sure how DIY you want the tank to be, but when I lived in Lubbock I had a friend that had a large soda bottle with a water/sugar/yeast mixture that dosed his planted tank with co2 . I think he changed it out once a week and made a new batch. I have no idea how well it works, but he seemed to think it did.
Edit: I didn't see the last part of your post, His tank was a 55g though. May or may not work for something that large

<<< obviously has never been in a mercedes dealership
You should just set up extra tanks and keep all the clowns you can! brooksclownfarm.com is available and has a nice ring to it.

I think seachem makes a phosphorus dosing product. There are probably others as well. I'm not sure about that would do it though.

Should have gotten the AMG

Can you set up any type of quarantine tank? I'm not positive about the injury, but I would think it would be best in a sterile quarantine environment to heal and if it were to pass not cause any issues with your display tank.

It definitely would have been interesting without that tank jack!

I completely agree. And if someone is willing to go half on a male and setting up an environment for him I wouldn't mind being a co-owner
