Was getting a 40g beeder at Petco today and saw that they had 3 4 gallon SpongeBob Living Room tanks on Clearance for only $4!
If anyone is looking for a small tank for a child or an interesting pico tank go grab one! They are at the La Fronterra Petco

I think the Dallas World Aquarium has these. I have seen old import lists with these on them, but I believe there were very few that survived in hobbyist aquariums.

Do you think you will run into any rust issues? I almost did this with one I had but got turned away because others had mentioned the top rusting out.

You could always rent a party bus...

I still know nothing about bitcoins, but apparently you can also buy a porsche http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/03/bitcoins-bubble-porsche_n_3009313.html

Bitcoins are one of those weird currencies that not many people know anything about...
But now, you can buy a DeLorean with them!

Happy Birthday!
Today is also Wyatt's 1st birthday!
I expect you two won't ever forget his birthday again. He does accept coral presents.
Wyatt was destined to be great

I hate that companies still use goldfish as display fish for tiny tanks. I used to run the aquatics department at Petco many years ago and always had people try to put 4 goldfish in betta bowls and tiny aquariums with no filtration. Then they would say well why is it on the box if I can't put it in >,<

I agree, but I would also say to quarantine from anywhere ;p
I would not buy fish from the store I shop at but I have heard rumors of a unicorn store that has decent livestock!

I saw this on the news and wondered if anyone would be having issues with it. I do not live in pflugerville but I would hate to shower in water that smelt like a swimming pool! I visited someone in Minnesota that had well water a long time ago and it was terrible showering in water that had an odor like sulfur

I used to run the fish department at petco and we found molly's all the time. There was one time I found a full grown lyretail in the sump.

Has anyone else seen these coupons printed off at the end of their receipts? I have gotten 2 so far (I'm a pet sitter so I shop there frequently). I do not have a tank running at the moment so I have no use for it, but has anyone else used them? They do not always have the best stuff, but every now and then if you catch them on shipment days they have nice fish. You could possibly even use it to special order fish.
On a side note, if anyone in the North Austin area wants one I have one you can haveI have shopped there 3 times and 2 out of 3 times got a 50% off coupon

You could also try putting the ice in a bag and smashing it to get a little more random pieces

Ball Pythons are great intro pets if you like reptiles! If I did not already have 2 I would probably pick it up. That's a great price for the set up. Would probably cost 2-300 at petco

Definitely a good business plan to have a lfs in the same lot as an aquarium
Make sure to have plenty of cycled tanks available!

Am disappointment this was not an animated gif announcement
Congrats! May is a great month to be born in
Seconded on both points, but without stats, this may be a June baby.
Congrats!
Name/Size?!
Ever since we had Wyatt last year I like to know other baby sizes, so I can say that baby was born "3/4 of a Wyatt"
1 Wyatt == 9lbs 12oz - 21"
I think he said the name was Bruiser and weighed 9lbs 3oz

Very cool to see where everyone works. I've been at Dell for 17 1/2 yrs now. I moved to Nashville in '99 when we opened that office and spent 3 yrs there. I only ended up back here because I got a job offer that included a relo package. When I got back is when I really got back into fish...got a great deal on a 120g from RCA and I've been supporting that habit ever since. Been doing federal sales for the last 6 yrs. I can attest to what Niko had mentioned...when the layoff rumors start going you never know who'll get hit and if your number is gonna be called. I've always been lucky and in the right group. Now that I'm in fed sales there's a lot more job security because we can't outsource any of our positions...it all has to stay here in the US!.
We have a few clients that work in sales at Dell, my Grandfather has been with Dell and has been in the storage department for about 7 years I believe.

George, I need to get Kari certified sometime next year after the Holiday Season. We are getting married in Hawaii and I would like to take her to check out the dive spots there!
