Hey Noodle! I havent talked to you in a while! How have you been? Yeah I was looking for some of these a while back. If you get them to spread I'll take some off your hands.

Everything's been good so far. I'll keep ya in mind
I just checked and I only have two. They are too small to do anything with. This is what i use to have until I sold them off.
Those are spectacular! I'll check back with you in a few months regarding them to see if the 2 babies have multiplied. Those colors are just gorgeous...

I have some mini carpets. I might can help you out.Do you have a couple of the 'nems you'd be willing to part with? I know they're notoriously hard to remove from rockwork and I don't want ya to mess up your rockwork trying to chip 'em off.
Thanks!

Do any locals have some mini carpet anemones (Stichodactyla tapetum) for sale?
Here's a pic of one I found on NR.com
Edit: I'm up in N. Austin/Cedar Park area.

In addition, there's Aquatek down on Burnet Rd. and Austin Aquariums (dunno if they're still open) down by Northcross mall.
There's also Kingfish Aquariums down Burnet too, but I don't think they've opened up their retail storefront yet w/o appointments...? You might want to PM John "thedude" about more details on that.

They still have some pretty nice corals from ORA in stock (still) when I checked it out today.

Are ya willing to trade for some cash instead? (I don't have nuke green palys)

Glad to see your yasha goby doing so well! Very neat vid

The key is scraping it off before it grows into a big ole' patch. Magnet cleaners come in handy for those out of reach places. And of course, there's good ole' elbow grease for those caked on coralline patches.
I do an every other day swipe with the magnet to keep the tiny spots of coralline from growing on the acrylic.

Dunno if you're still looking for Mastiffs, but there's 2 adult ones for adoption from bluedogrescue.com. Blue Dog's in Austin.
They're called Yogi & BooBoo (about 1/4 of the page down)

How is the wrasse helping with the nudis? I think I picked up some monti-eating nudis from a green cap from hobogato at the march meeting.
Not his fault, but I should've QT'ed it and checked it with a fine tooth comb before adding it in

This tank is absolutely stunning! Keep up the good work man!

Looking good w/ the new background!

Seems like your seller is a stand up type of person. Rock on! Hope your duncan heals up nicely.
-
Just make sure the superglue doesn't end up on any of the meaty portions. I'd also cordon the duncan away from any hermit crabs or shrimps (netting, tupperware container w/ holes). They might pick at the coral and cause more damage. Set it in an area with good lighting and feed it - hopefully it'll rebound from a not-so-great frag session.

Get outta town... $45 is great for a neat hotel like that!
That pic is pleasant distraction from the fact that I'm sitting here at work.
Thanks for letting me use it!

Very excellent pics - looks like a very beautiful place. I'm in awe of all the architecture they have there - way way different from the stuff 'round here...
I loved this pic! Do you mind if I use it as desktop wallpaper?

They're just laminated sheets of paper. Lots to choose from - I've seen mirror like ones, or the standard blue on 1 side/black on the other side. I use the blue & black backing, cause I can just flip the paper over if my tastes in background color change.

PMed ya about my 30G setup.

Horizon Pets
13497 Research Blvd., #700, Austin, TX 78750
(Corner of 183 & Anderson Mill Rd.) on the frontage.
Really weird and quirky stuff in some of his tanks, but always worth a look.

Nice catch with all the new corals.
That Leopard wrasse is killer!

Got a small piece from J_G a while back, it has grown nicely in my tank. But I have to cut it back since it has started to shade out my frogspawn and bother the gorgonian. This is a nice 3.5" x 2.75" frag I'll be bringing along w/ me to Sun's meeting. $5

I'm also a TM user too. Love it since it dissolves quickly, no leftover salt chunks left at the bottom of the water like IO, very consistent numbers b/t mixes.

First off, congrats on almost 1 year of ARC!
How about a big group trip to the Sea World in SA and then on the way back, we can hit up all the SA LFS's? laughing7.gif

Kalk paste seems to work wonders on some of the aip's I had. Melted them away linto nothing. Just make sure you don't use too much of it, especially if you have a small tank.
