since you have no corals i would cut back the hours the light is on and raise the mg level to 1500ppm and keep it there for a couple of weeks.
This is working for me.
It needs may be 6 inches of water to run. It does need a steady water level in your sump to work really good.
I would consider trades but I only need a bigger skimmer maybe a euroreef 8-2.
If it doesn't sell in the next week i'll post it on ebay and just see what I get.
Euro Reef CS 6-1 ( $175 O.B.O. )
- 6 in diameter
- 20in tall
- Ideal for up to 100 gal
- 8½" x 10" footprint
- 1 x 3500 Sedra pump
This is in perfect working condition. Here are a couple pics of it in action. It will be cleaned in muriatic acid before pick up. I'm only getting rid of this skimmer because I am upgrading to a bigger skimmer.
I just came home and one of the few turbos I have left tried to squeeze between my micros and acans that I glued down and popped the off the rock I had them on and down to the hydno. luckily everything landed on the frag disc and not flesh side down. Just wondering if anyone else had any other crazy snail stories.
