I have a small silver eel (~10" long and .5" body). He's healthy and is cool to watch, is mostly active in the dark and will fit into some really ridiculous holes in live rock. He doesn't like to stay in my display tank and has made the trip through the overflow to the sump several times, I don't think he likes the amount of flow in the main tank. He prefers fine substrate but does pretty well in live rock.
The picture is representative of him, but he's hard to get on film. Looks a lot like a grass snake if you know Texas animals at all.
Free to a good home, pick up only in South Austin since I'll have to catch him in the sump and would be tough to keep him happy at work during the day. Send me a PM and we'll set something up. Sunday afternoon or evening would be awesome.
