  1. Hi Quicksilver, sorry I've been MIA. One of my dogs has been sick the last few days and we had to put him down yesterday.

I believe that Msnm2e is going to take the candy canes, but if that falls through I will definitely let you know. I am interested in your cat's eyes and need some more zoas. My larger colony of candy canes is doing really well and could be fragged again soon. I also have some other stuff if you're interested.

  2. They are very beautiful and worth the extra expense in my opinion.

Here is a shot of mine with T5 actinics.

That's an awesome shot. Now I'll just sit back and wait for it to split :)

  3. I have a small piece with 6 heads on it. The picture doesn't really do the color justice (a google image search has better pics) , but at least it shows you the size of the frag.

I'm open to just about any coral except for this stuff which I already have: purple mushrooms, candy cane, galaxia, lettuce, GSP, red lobed brain coral, pavona, brown monti cap, brown/green button polyps.

I'll also consider any livestock other than angels, tangs, clowns, royal grammas or watchman gobies. I'll even take some clean up crew members :)

  4. Not really, I'm pretty open at this point. I recently took over the tank from my brother-in-law and it did not have a lot of diversity, just a few corals that had really thrived. Here's what I have in addition to the stuff above: purple mushrooms, candy cane, galaxia, lettuce, GSP, and what I think is a lobed brain coral.

  5. I have some large pieces of Monti Cap I'd like to trade. The stuff has grown like crazy in this tank and I need to clear out room for other corals. Each piece is probably about 6-7" wide.

I also have various small frags of this stuff that broke off when I relocated the tank recently. Not sure what exactly it is, it came from my brother-in-law and has also really thrived. Here's a picture of the main coral.

Lastly, I have a colony of 30+ greenish-brown button (?) polyps for trade. I noticed when I took the picture there were two small majanos, but they have since been wiped out with Aiptasia-X.

  6. I've seen some pictures of these and they look amazing. My clowns look silly hosting in a lettuce coral and could use a proper home. Just figured it was worth a shot since I hear they split often. Thanks in advance!

  7. Hello all. I just bought a house and am about to get back into the hobby. All of my stuff (what's left of it) has been living in my brother-in-law's tank up in Cedar Park. I'm going to buy his setup off of him and move it down to south Austin. Has anyone used any of the shops in Austin to move a tank? I think I'd rather have some pros do it, but not sure who to call. Thanks in advance!

  8. I bought a small pair of tank raised false percs. Within a few weeks one started to grow rapidly and became the female. They did very well in my 30g hosting in a bubble tip. I never had any problems with them and other fish or any disease.

  9. Hello, I'm trying to sell a 48" Coralife Aqualight Double Linear Strip Compact Fluorescent Fixture with 260w total (130w 10K, 130w Actinic). This fixture is about a year and a half old, but the lights were replaced and only used two weeks. Asking $120, I believe it retails for about $200. I've included a stock photo of it.
