      Sounds like Cynobacteria. Try increasing flow and reducing nutrients. Might do a search for "cyno" on the forums for tips.

      well just did some research, and im about 8 months into it and that seems to be normal i guess

      I turned my gfo reactor off for several days and I had cyano appear. GFO went back online yesterday so it should be gone in a couple of days.
