I have a Reef Fanatic Ph and Temperature monitor that I no longer need since I bought an all in one controller. The unit is in perfect condition and comes with an extra temperature probe that is less than 2 months old. The Ph probe is still reading accurately but is about 8 months old so may need to be replaced at some point. I do have an extra Ph probe if needed but is not included. Brand new $100 asking $75. Thanks

one thing that I like on my stand is all the panels come completely off. The tank is skinned with panels held on by magnets so you can go to the bare stand at any time to get in there and do what you need to do.

I would plug some miscellaneous device into each outlet to make sure it works first. I hooked everything up and setup each channel in order and it just so happens that it was the last channel that didnt work. Also if you havent calibrated your Ph proble yet download the new firmware update first. If you calibrated before you will have to redo it after the update, something that Scott had me to do try and fix my problem but didnt, those solution packets get kinda expensive after multiple rounds of calibrating. I think I'm going to have to send the my whole unit in to be fixed. crybaby2.gif

Lunch break update.... So I got my reefkeeper 2 in last night YAH!! So after reading the instructions and setting it up I notice something. My last channel isnt working, it's actually flat out broken. Then I notice something else. My indicator lights on my 4th and 8th channel just stay on even if the channel isnt on. After speaking to the owner I now have to sent the unit in have them diagnose and fix the problem and sent it back out to me, approx a week or two. They wont even send me out a shipping label either. I know its probably $7 to ship the thing but its brand new it should have been working in the first place. All in all I'm unimpressed by the product and the service at this point. I hope it just gets better from here.

I have an 145 gallon Acrylic tank 48" x 29" x 24" I would dearly like to get off my back porch. The tank is reef ready and also has a built in filter section in the back. There was a section of the seam that crazed then was fixed and reinforced by the previous owner. I used this tank for 6 months with no problems but havent set it up since I moved. I'm asking $120 or will take trades for a kalk reactor, frags, or anything else you can talk me into taking.

how long normally between each meeting?

I'd like to go a head and offer up my place for the next meeting then. I do have the majority of the neccesary power tools if you want to do some demos as well. I was thinking it might be a good idea to build the sump that you are going to give a way first then I have some acryilic scraps that we can use to demo how it was actually made. I'm not sure we can make a whole sump in one meeting.

Does anyone have any experience with boring algae on sps. I think a piece that I picked up from a local reefer has it but I dont know if I can save it or just chunk it. I'm afraid it might spread to other sps in the tank.

Reef Crystals is the product name, its made by aquarium systems the same company that makes IO. I use it too and have no problems with it. I like it much more than the Oceanic I use to use.
