  1. Hi everyone! Sadly, the combined demands of school, work and finances have dictated that I downsize my 150 gallon reef into something more manageable. As such, I'm setting up a 27 gallon cube tank, and must sell my Tunze wavebox. I purchased it new from Aquatek last summer, and aside from traces of coralline algae on the box, it's in perfect condition. If it could fit in my new tank or if I thought I'd be in a place to set up another big tank anytime soon I'd keep it, because it's a great piece of equipment and my corals loved the flow. Comes with 6091 controller, pump, light sensor (very handy), even the orignal box and intstructions - the whole shebang. $250 takes it. Sorry for the pic, I had to take it with my phone.
  2. I'm moving my setup into one of those sweet little Marineland 27 gallon cubes. It doesn't look that big... cubes are delightfully deceptive
  3. Toadstool is pending, I will notify the next in line if it falls through. Thanks!
  4. Lionfish is sold, leather coral still available. It is pretty unhappy and withdrawn at the moment because I had to take the tank apart to catch the lion, but I will post pics tomorrow when it looks better.
  5. I am downsizing my tanks and need to find a home for my dwarf fuzzy lionfish. He is very personable and eats frozen food like a champ. $30. Also selling a large pair of toadstool leather coral (two stalks on one base), $20.
  6. If she does I'd advise you to jump on it! The one I got is beautiful and happy, and also adhered immediately to the spot I picked out for it, and hasn't moved since. Very healthy anemone.
  7. Thanks for the 'nem! The color is just as gorgeous in person as it is in the pic.
  8. What do you do with the tanks in the summertime when the schools cut the AC, Craig?
  9. ****! The ONE weekend I'm out of town! If you ever have any more clones for sale, I'm still interested. I have a 150 gallon with 250 watt halides and I'd love one!
  10. I'd like to add a +1 for both Turbos and nassarius snails. I had terrible trouble with nuisance algae in my last tank, but I never had many turbos because I didn't like how they kept knocking over my unsecured frags. Now I've restarted my tank with a big batch of them, and they're doing a great job keeping the algae in check. They truly are workhorses, but you gotta secure your frags. Aside from that, the nassarius snails are my favorites. They're fun to watch!
  11. Corners tend to be stronger too, so that's in your favor.
  12. +1 for sponge, I have tons of yellow encrusting sponge that looks just like that.
  13. Mine preferred my torch coral no matter how many times I tried to introduce anemones for them. Captive bred clowns do tend to take longer. Also, ten gallons is a bit small for two clowns and two anemones...
  14. You can use airline tubing or a thin hose for a siphon in a pinch.
  15. I've been thinking about ordering an aquamag or two... are the custom ones prohibitively expensive?
  16. Nice meeting you! Harrison loves that T5 light. By the way, is the tank still available? I tried to shoot you a PM but your message box is full.
