here is a pic of the tank. as you can see it has the black rim AND a glass center brace.

I have a 40 breeder that has the standard plastic trim around the top and bottom and it also has a glass center brace. i was wonderin if it was safe to remove the center brace? i see a lot of 40 breeders without a center brace straight off the shelf.

I am in the process of building a 40g breeder with a DIY rock wall that i would like to incorporate barnacles into. if you have any (dead of course) that you have collected from the shore or have laying around, and wouldnt mind getting rid of some or all, i would definitely love to have them.
