  1. I knew this moment would come sooner or later. Looks like I might be going up in size here soon. Wanted to see if anyone would be intrested in buying this set. Heres a pic and the link to more info on the tank.I think Ill be asking $125. Comes with heater and maxi jet 1200 and possibly the skimmer. Light not included undecided on that too. I dont like the fact that I can only get 1 spectrum out of this...Anywho if you have any question feel free to ask. Still not sure if I'm stayin in the hobby lol.

  2. and I do feed "frozen" foods but theyre never frozen going in the tank. I agree feeding foods that are still blocks of ice is never a good idea. I know a lot of folks that do, take that extra couple minutes to thaw....

  3. At the moment mine are eating PE mysis and grass shrimp. I see the issue with the waste produced but Im pretty sure theres ways to deal w/ that. Yea they are not grazers but neither are hundreds of other fish we keep that still produce a ton of waste. I dont see how thats an issue when there is 100g+ mixed reef tanks loaded w/ larger fish that dont graze and still more that contribute to the waste load. It may not be the ideal thing to do but its doable. Ive seen some impressive reef tanks w/ predators that are pretty succelful. I think Volitans get way to big and just a little too lazy for my taste.

  4. +1 on the fuzzy. I have kept others before and I'll have to say fuzzies are probably the most active Lions I've had. They do have plenty of personality. They are NOT agressive fish, they dont come at you TRYING to sting ya. Theyre just little predators. I really like that they do come out during the day......

  5. Yea maroons will do that, but they take super good care of the nems once they take to it. Usually keepingin clowns within the same species work ok in a big enough tank. Ive tried keeping Tomato, Maroon, Clarkii, and Ocellaris in a 90gl and it didnt go so well. Black Ocellaris, Onyx, Percs, Naked, ect.. can usually kept in the same tank and even pair up. Its doable just keep an eye on em. Theres always exceptions, everyone has a diifferent story to tell. It varies from case to case......

  6. Hey guys I have a little seahorse that I wont be able to keep. Theres a few of you guys that wanted the little red horses at RCA. I have one and he keeps ending up in my overflow box. I will be taking him back in tomorrow or if someone cares to come over to my place tonight thats fine too. Im asking $30 for him will NOT hold. Sorry no pics.

  7. Heres some pics. I wanted to show yall the return pipe before I put everything in but I didnt have the camera at the time, but Im sure yall will get the idea. Looks like I might be upgrading the skimmer. Ive been giving the Mame Skimmer some serious though. Dont mind the glass ornament my son chuncked them in there when I wasnt looking and I felt bad pulling them out.

  8. Ah ha! Naw I dont even remember anymore. Yea I couldnt really get into WAW. The time I really played it was online w/ my younger brother. He loves the Nazi Zombies. Yea the betta was pretty cool. Halo ODST was a little weird for me though but I still played it more than COD. Im hesitant about both so I might just wait till my brother or someone else get it, then Ill be on it like white on rice. Gears of War 3 for sure though!
