fru
i have a 120 tenecor corner tank, pentagon shape. currently i am running 4 96 watt pc's. all of this is mounted in a canopy. the tank is doing fine with these but i want it to do better. my problem is that i am having trouble finding suitable lights because of the shape of the tank. i would like to run t5's and possibly a metal halide. the only thing i am worried about with the halide is the heat. i can keep the 4 96 watt pc's under control with a small fan. i also have a 12 gallon nanocube that i want to upgrade the lights on. the tank is only 14 inches wide and i wasn't sure if something like a 70 watt halide would fry my stuff. i am open to any suggestions and would very much appreciate it. absolut_racer
For the nano, I run a Current Sunpod 16.5" with 70w bulb on a Biocube 8 with the Azoo fans (2 x 80mm). I'm anywhere between 76 and 79 degrees and top off 2 cups of ro/di daily. Hope this helps.
