Chrispar
Im setting up a 29 gallon tank with a 10 gallon sump, my question is what type of skimmer would yall recommend for this size set up?
+dapettit
Maybe something that is rated at 50 gallons an hour. Not sure what make or brand. Just google 50 gph skimmer and see what comes up. Post your decision and I sure folks here will make their recommendations. Dave-
Zarathustra2
I have a similar small setup and really like the skimmer I am using, the Aqua C remora series. It has a very small footprint and can just hang on the side of your sump. It has been very effective for me on my 24g, producing at least a cup of skinmate every day. Zarathustra2
Yea. You are basically going to want to look for some type of HOB (Hang On Back) skimmer. That way, the entirety of the skimmer foot print is one pump in your tank instead of the entire skimmer. I think any of the above should work out for you. The only one I can't speak to is the tunze.
