Zarathustra2
So i am putting in a stand up pool in my backyard and have been using a ton (literally) of quickcrete sand to level the backyard. On a whim i threw some vinegar on it and saw it froth up. Not like a violent reaction but it definately was a chemical reaction. Is this safe to use in the DSB i'm about to put in my tank? Zarathustra2
Thanks for the PM MDavis. Looks like anything labeled "playground sand" that passes the vinegar test is good. The quickcrete was for mixing concrete so is allowed a certian level of heavy metals that playground sand is not. Luckily prof had a bunch of sand for cheap so all is good and fantastic now.
