caferacermike
Many of you might know that about a month ago I made a trip from Austin to Illinois, to Pennsylvania, and back in 3 days (3,600 miles in 84 hours) to pick up some motorcycles to restore and donate to a local pediatric cancer charity as I do every year. Well the bikes were not up to my standard of cleanliness and soundness. This week I bought 2 classic European bikes to donate instead. I will be leaving in a week for New York, Ohio, Oklahoma and then back to Austin (3,753 miles guessing 75-80 hours) and returning with all new bikes. If there is any chance you might have a small 4x8 6x10 trailer in very good to excellent condition I might borrow, I'd gladly repay your kindness with a cash reward. The last trip was almost a disaster in a remote town East of Dallas. 13" tire blow out on a 2,000lb axle led to a $100 hard to find tire replacement and a bent axle. Thankfully after checking out 4 tire shops a Walmart had 1 tire available and I was able to use the truck's jack to bend the axle back into shape. This time I would much prefer a 14-15" tire, easy replacement if should run flat, and a heavier 3,000lb axle.
