cmanning Posted May 9, 2009 Share Posted May 9, 2009 You can purchase a 60g. plastic drum from Austin Homebrew for about $10. You need to call in and reserve one of their plastic drums (the ones that holds malt/flavoring). Rinse it thoroughly several times and the neat part about the drums it has embossed markings of 5 gal. increments on the outside part. Which, if you prefer, can be highlighted w/a permanent marker----like a sharpie. Cut out an opening on the top to insert pump for mixing and doing water changes.
