Cool Breeze
I started getting some stubborn green algae growing on the glass that won't come off with a mag float. What does everyone use to get rid of this?

What does everyone use to get rid of this? razor blade. Works great. Somewhat of a PITA to get around the tank, but it really makes your tank stand out when you scrape it down. princer7
yep, nice clean and straight razor blades work wonders. If it is outside the tank, you can use vinegar to remove just about every nasty saltwater residue including mineral deposits..
prof
Get one of these. I like mine. http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewItem~cat...y~FIMTAMAC.html
nemirn
I got a "razor blade on a stick" type of algae scraper from Aqua Dome for like $4. I don't use the magnetic scraper any more --- it simply doesn't scrub hard enough.
