polarbear
I just got a snail for my tank today and it had a baby starfish on it. Its about as small as a pea and still alive. I was wondering if anyone has experince with them. I didnt know if I should just leave it in the tank free to crawl around or should i try to house it in something. Also what does it eat. I dont have any clue as to what type it is but I do have a video of it that I will be putting on here later. Any ideas?
GKarshens
Probably an Asterina. There was a thread that discussed them recently
caferacermike
Could also be a tiny brittle star. They don't get much larger than a dime. If the arms are tiny and thread like it's a brittle. If the arms are short and fat with a little purple in the body it would be an asterina.
