jsr
Folks, I have been fighting periodic micro bubbles in my tank. I have ruled out the skimmer and there are no bubbles going into the return section of my sump. Its not constant, but every 5 seconds or so I get a burst of bubbles from both returns. So before I rip out all the PVC I would like to test a new pump. Also, I did not have any problems until I hard plumbed the returns. I have checked all the joints and there is no salt creep on anything. It could be a pin hole, but I would like to rule out the pump as its easier. If anyone has a 3/4 inch output punt between 700 and 900 GPH that I could borrow for a few days I would greatly appreciate it. I am in Cedar Park so the closer the better! Thanks in advance. Reybeast
got an anti-siphon hole in the pvc somewhere? Just as a test, cover it for about 10 minutes. If I had a pump, I would lend it, but only have one, sorry..

jsr
Thanks guys. I do have anti siphon holes on both returns. I find it odd that both returns blow bubbles at the same time. I tried plugging them with golf tee's and had no success. Since the bubbles enter the tank at the same time I am thinking is has something to do with the plumbing (between the pump, union, and tee) or the pump. I may take you up on borrowing that Mag 9.5 Gabriel. May be a little too much flow, but I guess it would blow all the crud from the return lines. I will PM you when I get some free time. Thanks again for the suggestion and pump offer. James
