High End 240 StarPhire Glass Stable Reef Tank

This is a bittersweet day for me. I'm moving internationally and can't take my aquarium with me.

This tank has been professionally maintained for the past 3 years. It is literally 100% maintenance free(I don't even feed it anymore!). It is serviced once per week and other than that, I just enjoy it. No "Gotchas" or "Jerry Rigged" stuff here. This is my 5th saltwater tank, and I did this one right after trying to be cheap and regretting it many times before.

This was originally setup by Jason(Owner of Aquarium Designs in San Antonio) and is professionally maintained locally here in Austin(Will make intro to new owner if desired).

I've probably got 20k into this aquarium, so please don't lowball. This is a steal for someone who wants a high-end self-maintained, stable reef aquarium.

This can be moved to your location by the person who has maintained this tank for 3 years and knows all of the ins and outs for ~$1200. He might charge a bit more if it's a long haul...

Some highlights:

- 240 gallon tank, StarPhire Glass. This is lead-free. Check Google images to see what a difference it makes -- https://www.google.c...bih=778&dpr=0.9

- Stained oak stand and canopy

- UV Light

- Reef Octopus Skimmer

- 55 gallon sump

- 3 LED light racks & ballasts with blue/red/green independent controls(These were bought from the designer who supplies Dallas North Aquarium with theirs! I think they were over 1k a piece if I remember, and put off no heat. And they make the tank look awesome).

- two pumps inline for return from sump.. in case one breaks. Very quiet, high end LifeGard pumps.

- Digital Aquatics Reefkeeper Elite V2 -- manages all pumps, lights, ties into your ethernet and gives you EMAIL ALERTS if something is not right. This has saved my butt a couple of times when I would have otherwise had a catastrophic loss

- ~300 lbs of quality live rock. Mostly fiji, really nice pieces

- large torch, frogspan, sps, mushrooms, clams. Easily $500-1k in coral.

- large clam.. beautiful

- show quality XL purple tang

- six line wrass

- several skink, coral banded and gold coral banded shrimp

- mated maroon clowns

- a few cardinal fish

- various urchins, starfish

- extra water reservoir with topoff into sump

The tank is currently serviced once per week and stays in perfect condition with ZERO interaction from me. I have left for over a month at a time and the tank maintains itself well because it's balanced and the protein load is low with the reef setup. Can easily handle more livestock, but I haven't bought anything in 6-8 months because I knew we were moving and this day would come.

Price is 5k firm, (Not including move). I would recommend having the service company move it personally. It has been moved three times for us, and is stable and clear again in 48 hours.

Please don't lowball, there is no way you could come close to building a system like this for that price.

For the right person, who wants an established showroom quality tank setup and to have a stable reef system in place next week, this is a great deal.

Please message me on the site or text 512-569-2385. I will return calls as available.

Thanks everyone,

Ryan
