This is the same place the 2 lightning maroons were found. These PNG fish are of special interest to collectors of rare fish or breeders looking to keep a true PNG gene pool. At the moment no one can get wild caught PNG fish and it's been that way for a few years. Currently fish are not being exported from PNG. This horned white stripe with the picasso type tail stripe is especially unique because this type of fish is not being produced in captivity other than lightning maroon white stripes and morse code white stripes. He is well respected in the breeding industry and will verify ALL info I have posted for each fish. So, obviously you are taking an upfront risk that what I'm saying is true. But the simple fact the patterns on these fish are only unique to Papua New Guinea white stripe maroon clownfish should justify the risk. Once these are gone... that's pretty much it for wild caught unique white stripes from PNG....until either someone does as I have by moving their collection or PNG starts exporting again. Aquadome had a true PNG wild caught white stripe for sale? You realize these are not available on the market right? My entire collection was purchased from the private collection of a well known genetics Doctor. My PNG collection also check out with MattP as they are from the same source that Sea and Reef's PNG morse codes are from.Papau New Guinea has not exported for a few years now. Do some Internet searches and show me where anyone has true wild caught PNG for sale... you won't find any unless they are F1 or later in which case they will be Sea and Reef. At the present time the unique white stripes are only coming out of PNG...but PNG is locked down. These fish are desirable for people looking to expand their PNG gene pool.... primarily breeders. Go pick up an F1 Lightning Maroon (about to be much more available soon, once Soren at Sea and Reef releases his) and pair it with some random PNG white stripe wild caught and watch the drama start from all those attempting to keep the PNG provenance true. I can agree that your friend purchased a $20 white stripe maroon from Aquadome. ....anyone can do that and even for less.
