something to reef on
My frofspawn has been somewhat retracted the last 6 or 7 days and has now grown a small dime sized bubble. Google tells me it may be splitting. Can anyone confirm this? If so, how long of a process is this and is there anything I should or should not do while this is going on? +olaggie01
What does the bubble look like? Google bubble algae and see if that could be the bubble.
something to reef on
Its not algae; it's definately part of the frogspawn. I cant seem to post a photo from my phone. Maybe tonight I will see if I can do that from my laptop

+KimP
Weird. I've had many blastos do that but never seen it on anything else, and they appeared perfectly healthy while it happened. I'm stumped.
Dean
My purple hammer did the same thing. I moved it to lower flow and the bubble went away after a few days.
something to reef on
hmmm. Its been in the same spot since I got it about 6 months ago and it had been perfectly happy there. Nothing has changed in my tank, paramaters are good, and all other inhabitants are doing fine.
something to reef on
Well what was a single head is now three heads, so it would appear that was part of the splitting process or an indication that it was happening or going to happen. Sorry for the fuzzy photo, the three heads on the right were a single head prior to this bubble forming.
