They do look weird because of their translucent bodies with white speckles, but a nem they are. Bpb Posted June 7, 2014 Share Posted June 7, 2014 Yep. Ball anemone vote. Harmless little hitchhiker. Won't spread rapidly like aiptasia or mejanos. I had a couple in the tank for a couple years and they never split. Occasionally I'd catch them out before they hid and right as the blue plus bulbs were warming up they'd glow a bright orange but once the lights were on they'd be totally clear. More often than not though they won't be visible when the lights are on. Mine only seemed to come out in the dark. Haven't seen them for a few months though.
