ceastman
I found this in my live rock rubble in my refugium: is it a baby mollusk/barnacle? should I leave it there or put in the main tank buried in the sand a bit?
Sherita
I've got those. Put him back in the rubble, they like to stick to rocks. If you put him the sand he will get buried and die. Eventually he will be covered with coralline and hard to spot until he spits water on you.
ceastman
ah - what is it? he is out in the open should I put him closer to some rocks?
Sherita
It's just some species of rock clam. I don't know the name, just that I have them. How big is he? I would set him on some rubble so that he can attach. If he doesn't like the location he will move.

Sherita
He's a cute little bugger I'd just set him on some rubble and let him do whatever clams do.
