They sent me the newest AI controller and so far so good. There is not a lot of info on this controller online so i will let you know a little about it. Its very strurdy and passes the squeeze test. THey may have built it that way because the soft keys require quite amount of pressure to select. That makes it hard for accidental button pushes. The controller has a lot of options too. You can choose the sunrise/sunset of your city or one of many reefs around the world. The moon setting is customizable also. The are 30 timers and each timer you control the time,intensity and ramp for 1 or all channels. I also like the fact that you can adjust on the fly, no backing out. THere is an easy mode as well as acclimation mode for corals. The Director seems to be easier to set up becuse of the user interface, But they did not skimp out on options on the new controller too!
