lenver
So I tough that my peppermint shrimp was being harassed by my tangs, but after looking for a while now I think that the shrimp is actually cleaning them, I see them going to where he is and park right outside and I will see him sometimes come out and I think he cleans them. Are peppermint shrimp consider cleaners for the fish?
Sascha D.
Peppermint Shrimp are not considered a cleaning species. However, many species have been observed in "cleaning stations" including Blood Shrimp and Peppermints. Don't count on them to do it, but don't be suprised if they do it. It could also indicate that they aren't getting enough food. Are you running a light bioload?
lenver
Very light bioload right now. But when I feed the mysis shrimp he comes out and gets some also. So I do see him eat, but he is a big guy.
