nuxx Posted May 6, 2013 Share Posted May 6, 2013 Selling my two remaining 120 watt dimmable LED fixtures. Brand new, never used. They each feature 55 3 watt LEDs in this format: 27 White 28 Blue They are 3 watt Bridgelux LEDs with 90 degree optics. Each cover 2 feet sections of a tank just fine. I have had 2 running on my 55 for about 4 months and an SPS frag is growing like nuts. I've had zero issues with the fixtures either. For my 450, I'm going to buy 5 new fixtures to make sure all the LEDs are matched, so I'm selling the two I had from the 4 I ordered for my 240 and am not using (other two being used on my 55). I modified the two running on my 55 with computer fans that push a lot less air. It was over kill with the original fans. Now they are whisper quiet and produce no heat. Fans were ~ $2 each and I needed 3 for each fixture. They can be hung with any normal mounting kit and will each need two computer power cords (can be found cheap at Frys, ALTEX, Best Buy, Walmart, etc...). I tossed the ones that the fixtures came with, I just didn't like them. I paid $170 per fixtures plus shipping and duties. Will sell for $150 each.
