+SChrisEV
I'm not sure if this is the best place for this, please move is needed. This is interesting, lots of ideas come to mind for use... the question is, if is reef safe? Anyone have any experiences with this stuff? I ran across this looking for mold-able (I think PVC) like AquaHub.com (http://www.aquahub.com/store/moldaholder18.html) sells, but I was looking for larger sizes. https://www.inventables.com/technologies/hand-moldable-plastic
+Capt. Obvious
What plastics are reef-safe: http://www.3reef.com/forums/general-reef-topics/reef-safe-plastics-leaching-myths-facts-57828.html what you are talking about here is commonly known as polymorph plastic or shapelock and is more specifically polycaprolactone...which is a biodegradable low melt point polyester. I wouldn't use it in-tank...not due to leaching but due to the fact it will degrade over time. see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polycaprolactone It is the same composition aquahub sells...it will take time but it will degrade Correction...should hold up in liquids won't leach PH and is foodsafe: http://www.radioshack.com/graphics/uc/rsk/Support/MSDS/2770161_MSDS.pdf
+SChrisEV
Would you use it in your reef tank? I can think about a few applications for use in my sump.

(Bio)³
you can use it, just might have to repair/replace it eventually if it breaks down too much.
