ChallengerReef Posted April 13, 2013 Author Share Posted April 13, 2013 with the apex jr a seperate module, I believe it's called PM1, is available to add a ph probe to the apex jr. please correct me if I'm wrong about that. I've never had an actual controller, just Walmart timers, and feel like its time to upgrade if I can find something in my price range. Thanks! I just figured new an Apex Jr goes for $220 and to add ph its around $100 more, so $320, while the Apex lite is around $370 new. I know the lite does have more features and outlets but I'm figuring around $200 for the apex Jr with Ph used or around $100-$125 for the reefkeeper lite since its only $200 new with ph and temperature control. I really like the apex but it seems like they rarely come up for sale and I just can't afford new right now while in school. Hopefully someone shows up with what i'm looking for lol I figure Ph isnt that important because if I get it cheaper than new I can add the Ph module and still save some money.
