Juiceman
The plastic brace or a glass one?
bimmerzs
Hi, Did it just crack, break in two or detach from one side? If it detached or broke in two then I would be concerned that the center brace breaking, would then really put stress on the remaining seam's. I wouldn't trust that tank myself if the seams were stressed with a full tank of water but there have been many folk's that have just repaired each of the above failure type's, and it worked out for them. Others...not so lucky. YMMV Cheers,
Toxiq Reef
I agree with the stress to seams, in to repair, acrylic sheet and Weldon of plastic
+Capt. Obvious
i repaired a broken center brace once....the tank lasted 6 months before catastrophic failure...drain it...and get the glass cut to size at a glass shop. this is a job to do on an empty tank...trust me
offroadodge
Binswanger Glass can cut you a new piece, IMO it would be easy to fix and agree with Capt Obv that empty would be better. I have plenty of silicone from my tank build.
