About 1-2 months ago I had about 15lbs of regular sand (crushed coral if I remember right) and put it in a tank with about 40lbs of live sand. I've had it circulating since with live rock to keep everything alive. I am moving the rock to another tank and won't be needing the sand like I though. It all came from another tank and will probably be a little stinky removing it. So I'm pretty sure there's at least 50lbs. It's in a 30 gallon tank that is about 36inches long and I think it is 3-4 inches deep. Home most evenings after 6:30...weekends are typically okay also. I'm in south Austin at William Cannon and 35.
