+o0zarkawater Posted February 3, 2013 Share Posted February 3, 2013 I've had this growing in my tank for a while and was asked last night what it was..... I have no idea. Its a stony coral with smooth "skin" and very small "polyps" that don't extend very much at all. I say "skin" because I've never seen it slough of like most acros/sps when its been cut or agitated. Its just a hard exterior. When you cut this coral the inside is white with a really cool blue tint to it. My Google-Fu™ has failed me in finding a picture of a similar coral. What do I have? rchavez Posted February 3, 2013 Share Posted February 3, 2013 It looks like a Blue Ridge Coral. It has a carbonate structure but it is actually considered to be a soft coral.
