Is this enough food?

I have a 2" coral beauty, a 2 1/2" dottyback (I thought it was a basslet, but it's not), a 2" tomato clown, a tiny neon goby, a cleaner shrimp, about 5 hermit crabs, 2 big snails, and about 10-12 small snails. I feed them once a day, and usually feed them 1 cube of food (mysis or Marine Cuisine, etc). I bought several empty shells and 5 small snails 2 days ago and ever since I've had to rescue the snails from the hermit crabs. The snails are much smaller than the crabs' shells, so I don't think they're after the shell. Am I feeding them enough?

first question, is all the food gone after 10 min?

if so then it is possible they could eat more.

best way to figure out is to add a second cube.

if there is a mess of food leftover after 10 or so min

then you feed too much.

One cube should be more than enough. Your tank is still very new so you don't have much algae for the crabs to pick at. Give it a week or two and they should be fine.
