Sherita
Had the camera out yesterday, snapped a few good pics that I thought folks might like...... My 140g predator tank. It's still in the "ugly" stage, since it's fairly new. But I'm seeing some coralline popping up on the background, so it will color up soon. One of the two condy nems that reside in the predator tank And, some random coral shots, mostly sps

aggieMEDIC
I want to figure out how to get pics like these... I am using my wife's Canon DSLR 10D (yes its old) I am getting a macro lens in about 2 weeks from my dad who decided the one he has isnt "Macro" enough. we should have a photography lesson sometime. Sherita
Rob, I'm not using a macro lens. I want one something awful, but not quite ready to pony up the $$$$ yet. these were shot using a 35-80 lens and stacked magnification filters, using a photo barrel mounted on the lens to allow me to shoot top down. Camera is a Canon Rebel XTI, auto white balance, flash off.
