reefN00B
Hey guys, I'm looking to buy some hardware for my 5.5g sump I'm trying to start (I already have the tank for it). Right now I'm thinking about buying: Eshopps overflow box (PF-Nano rated at 200 gph) Quite One Pro 1200 pump (Mfg# R440102, Max head= 6 ft, Max gph= 296) Let me know if you have similar or relavent hardware to sell. Thanks, -Vini
10gReef
What size DT do you have? I used a 5.5g sump on a 10g DT and it worked great! My suggestion is if your doing a small DT, don't do an overflow, if you can, drill it. The overflow was to clunky and didnt look good so I drilled my back glass and it worked great. good luck! reefN00B
I have an 11.4g DT, but it's already set up. The back of the tank is painted black, however, so I'm hoping that'll hide most of the overflow from view.
jaggedfire
I ended up making a MAME overflow clone out of 3/4 pvc for my 25DT. It totaled around $12-15 and primes itself. Fairly silent and took up very little space. Can be painted to hide as well.
(Bio)³
I have a nano overflow box with lid rated for up to 220 gallons. It's an internal overflow though, not a HOB.
