Grim
As most of you know or have come to visit me in the last few months know about my setup and a lot of you guys asking me why i don't have a build thread....... so here it is i wont be covering everything since i have started but for the most part what i have done and further plans that are in the works -ENJOY- So I moved up to austin on October of 2k10 from San Antonio leaving behind a two year old 75g reef not wanting to brake it down I decided to keep it running yes I said it "keep it running" so I would make the trip down to San antonio every Monday to see how it was doing....... so October 2k11 I had bough a 25g cube (form a member of ARC that i found on Craigslist Thanks Ben) but knowing all my rock, sand, coarl, fish, ext wouldn't fit in a 25g so I went on a conquest to find the prefect tank or any thing that I could use so after look around at some LFS i found nothing but after a few days I came across a hydroponic shop not to far from my APT that had 125g hydroponic tray so i said "what the hell" so i would be plumbing my 25g and 125g tray as one system i started looking for a sump that would work for me i came across this acrylic shelf that was used @ jCPenney back in the day.... so i was told by the guy selling it on CL so i got it for $25 bucks so all had to do was lay it on its back side drill a couple of holes and THERE YOU GO..... i was running two 20k 400w MH over it fast forward 6 months THEN and this is what i "was" working with was nice and all till i had to move had to sell the 25g cube

+olaggie01
Just so you know, you should never throttle down a pump on the input but rather on the output. Otherwise you'll ruin the pump.
