Meteorflower
Hi all! I just got back from a few weeks in Port Aransas at the UTMSI, and I came home with a few turtlegrass seeds (Thalassia) that are in the process of sprouting. I was originally planning on setting up a seagrass tank with them and maybe trying for seahorses, but I am leaving again for Alaska in a few days and just don't have the time. If anyone wants to try their hand at raising some turtlegrass from seed, they can have them. They were collected floating in the Corpus Christi Bay. I also have some clumps of Mermaid's Wine Glass algae (Acetabularia) that you can have too. They're sitting in a Gatorade bottle on top of my tank, come get'em!
