dreilly1982
So, this is my first post here, and my first saltwater aquarium. I have been lucky enough to get my hands on a couple tanks, a 40B and a 65, that I will be setting up simultaneously (more on the 40 later, probably in another thread.) What I want to ask is about a HOB overflow as I'm 90% sure I can't drill this tank. I was looking at doing this. http://dramaticaquascapes.com/PVC_Overflow_11.html My thing is that it's ugly.....and was wondering if schedule 40 clear PVC would be up to the job?? I don't know what kind of pressures are building up in these overflows, but if someone knows anything about this it would be a great help!! Thanks a bunch!! For hard numbers the following link details the differences between the two main types of PVC (that I know of at least) http://pvcfittingsdirect.com/_e/page/1003/Schedule_40_vs_Schedule_80.htm
