fishypets
I'm looking to cover my existing cement patio with some sort of stone. Anyone here do this type of work?
+C Lo Slice
I don't have any experience, but I know it's fairly simple to do. Have you tried watching YouTube videos, or even Home Depot's How-To section? Just thought I'd throw that out there - you'll save a ton on labor
mFrame
I bought some flagstone molds that you fill with concrete. You can add a color mix to the concrete before you fill the molds to get different colors. Just place the molds on top of the slab, fill, and you should be good. They're similar to these: http://www.lowes.com/images/LCI/Planning/HowTos/ht_BuildaWalkwaywithaPrecastMold_hero-image.jpg PM me if you'd like to borrow them to experiment. +C Lo Slice
I also just want to throw out there to keep in mind that stone will get HOT in the summer, if it's on an uncovered patio. I was going to lay some slate tile underneath a pergola in my backyard until a buddy of mine pointed that out. I hadn't even considered that until then.
