Jimbo662
After my nem did the powerhead tango with my MP40 I immediately put the foam filters on them. Luckily I did because several weeks after it healed it released itself and the current sucked it in tentacle first. I guess it was just the water flow that held it against the filter. Got it free and it was fine. I don't see any difference with the filter on it unless I forget to clean it and it gets real gunky.
Dustin Pedretti
So..... 5 weeks later and she lives! I left her in the breeder cage in the tank for 2 weeks so the clowns couldn't bother her. I decided to put her back in general population and she's been hiding under the rockwork ever since. Just this week she has started to bubble up and come out during the day. Might sound like a dumb question but what kind of clown is that...don't think I've seen one black with yellow stripes

Yeah, I was going to get some filters when I put her back in the tank..... but I didn't mean for her to get back in the tank yet.
+o0zarkawater
It somehow fell off the mp10 and was blown back into the breeder net by the tunze. I'm very confused. The pink that is left is not tentacles, it's foot I think. I'm leaving it to see if somehow that can live. Gig 'em @ NDstructible
I think we can clear the air that I wasn't a bad owner of this anemone, that it just has a natural disposition for suicide. And two answer Dustin's question, that is a maroon clownfish. That's what happens as they get older. I wanna say she is 11 years old at this point. Dustin Pedretti
Oh wow...I didn't know they turned black or I guess darker...I've been wanting a pair...even more of a reason now
Gig 'em @ NDstructible
They're a very beautiful species, but a heads up, they're probably one of the more aggressive and territorial clown species so try and keep them in a larger tank for when they get older and bigger.
