Pailines
How much is the overflow rated for? Or is it custom? dimension? Thanks
Wadeifer
I took a standard 1" overflow, added a second 1" bulk head and built a custom box for inside the aquarium. I estimate 900 GPH but I only pushed 600 through it. Box inside aquarium (8" W x 4 1/2" D x 5 1/2" H). Box outside the aquarium (5 3/4" W x 4" D x 8 1/2" H). Brunofamily
Do you still have the tank? I am new to reefing so I have to ask a dumb question , is this HOB or drilled? I live in RR and am very interested.
(Bio)³
Looks like HOB in the pictures.
Brunofamily
Thanks, BiocubeD. I was thinking that also. I know I can have it drilled, extra cost.
+C Lo Slice
Thanks, BiocubeD. I was thinking that also. I know I can have it drilled, extra cost. Not if the bottom is tempered glass. Be sure to keep that in mind
Wadeifer
The bottom is tempered but you can still drill the back if you want.
VooDoo
usually if the bottom says it's tempered, it means the whole tank...i wouldn't do it
